Customised retrofit for a cryogenics company
As part of an industrial retrofitting project, we carried out a complete upgrade of a plunging machine for a customer with a growing business in the cryogenics sector. This work extends the lifespan of equipment while guaranteeing compliance with current safety standards and optimal performance.
Work carried out during the retrofit
The retrofit of this industrial production machine included the following services:
- Reconditioning of the hydro-pneumatic cylinder
- Installation of an electrical cabinet to manage the production cycle and safety devices
- Installation of two emergency stop buttons (control panel and table)
- Addition of a lockable disconnect switch, a reset button, on/off controls, a cycle counter and a fault indicator light
- Integration of a zero-speed relay allowing safe access in the event of a complete shutdown
- Creation of a new pneumatic control box with distributors, regulators, pressure gauges, fittings, and hoses
- Addition of a filter regulator with a soft start valve and venting shutoff valve
- Safety enclosure with powder-coated steel mesh panels (fixed at the rear and left side)
- Installation of safety doors: double front interlocking door, single door on the right side for adjustment
- Supply of electrical and pneumatic diagrams, part lists and user manual
- Design, manufacture, installation and commissioning at the customer’s site
