Thomas Constructions Mécaniques – TCM is recruiting:
A project manager (M/F) – Permanent contract on a fixed 218-day package – Full time
Company activity:
For over 75 years, THOMAS CONSTRUCTIONS MECANIQUES – TCM has been designing and manufacturing special machinery for all sectors of activity. In line with the continued growth of our business, we are recruiting talented, motivated, dynamic and skilled individuals to join our teams of employees.
Reporting to the Business Managers, your responsibilities will include the following:
- You will support the business managers in their roles, in particular, with conducting technical pre-studies in the costing and implementation phase of customer orders
- In the costing phase:
- Assist with defining technical options
- Conduct pre-technical studies
- For each customer order:
- Produce 2D and 3D technical plans
- Negotiate on purchases and manage supplier order tracking
- Assist with the drafting of manufacturing files
- Prepare after-sales technical files
Your profile:
- You hold at least a 3-year university degree (BAC+3) in one of the following disciplines:
- Professional Bachelor’s Degree in industrial production, specialising in the design and manufacture of products or mechanical design engineering
- Professional Bachelor’s Degree in engineering project management and MCAD
- Professional Bachelor’s Degree in MCAD
- Professional Bachelor’s Degree with specialisation in industry: design of industrial products or equivalent
- Previous professional experience is not required but would be an advantage.
- You are proficient in CAD software, ideally Solidworks
- You are proficient in MS Office
- You have good communication and listening skills and a passion for technology
- You are a team player
- You are organised, independent, efficient and determined
- Fluency in spoken English would be an advantage
- You hold a category-B driving licence

A designer draughtsperson (M/F) – Fixed contract – 35 hrs/week – Full time
Company activity:
For over 75 years, THOMAS CONSTRUCTIONS MECANIQUES – TCM has been designing and manufacturing special machinery for all sectors of activity. In line with the continued growth of our business, we are recruiting talented, motivated, dynamic and skilled individuals to join our teams of employees.
Company activity:
Reporting to the Design Office Manager, your responsibilities will include the following , for a period of 2 to 3 months:
- Design, produce and interpret drawings
- Perform 2D, 3D CAD and 3D modelling
- Assist business managers with supplier calls for tenders: conduct calls for tenders with our various suppliers
- Contact suppliers
- Request prices
- Compile price request information
Your profile:
- You hold at least a University Technical Diploma (DUT) in mechanical and production engineering or a DUT in materials science and engineering or a Vocational Training Certificate (BTS) in technical engineering support or an equivalent qualification
- You are highly proficient in using Solidworks CAD Software
- You are proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- You ideally have at least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role
- You are a team player
- You are organised, independent, efficient and determined

A special machine millwright (M/F) – Permanent contract – Full time
Company activity:
For over 75 years, THOMAS CONSTRUCTIONS MECANIQUES – TCM has been designing and manufacturing special machinery for all sectors of activity. In line with the continued growth of our business, we are recruiting talented, motivated, dynamic and skilled individuals to join our teams of employees.
Reporting to the Design Office Manager, your responsibilities will include the following:
- You will perform manufacturing operations, assembly of elements, parts and components of mechanical assemblies using tools and machines, in accordance with safety regulations and production requirements (deadlines, quality);
- You will check the conformity of mechanical parts and components before assembly;
- You will test and commission the assembled components;
- You will be in charge of performing machine operating tests;
- You will oversee the final installation at our customers’ sites;
- You will carry out preventive and curative maintenance work for our customers.
Your profile:
- You hold at least a Vocational Diploma (Baccalauréat Professionnel) in industrial mechanics;
- You know how to read and interpret a manufacturing and assembly drawing;
- You are skilled in metal work, welding, electrics, pneumatics and hydraulics;
- You ideally have at least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role or in maintenance;
- You are aware of and apply corporate safety rules;
- You have an analytical mind and are proactive;
- You are meticulous, methodical, versatile and you like taking on new challenges;
- Knowledge of how to use metrology equipment, portable power tools (electric saw, sander, etc.), test benches and 3D measuring instruments would be an advantage;
- The following certifications would also be an advantage: working at height, bridge, aerial work platform, forklift (category 3) and electrician’s accreditation
